In the last 20 years, there have been vast changes in the way nonprofits conceive their missions, award money, and appeal to private donors and the public.
One more big change: Nonprofit marketing communications (marcom) and PR have caught up to their counterparts in for-profit companies. PR in nonprofits is
just as sophisticated, inventive, and powerful as PR in the for-profit sector.
We’ve decided to recognize that fact.
Introducing PR Daily’s first annual Nonprofit PR Awards, created to showcase PR and
marcom nonprofit communicators. It’s time to publicize the work that has impressed your co-workers and colleagues for years.
Not sure if you’re eligible to enter? Philanthropic foundations, government agencies, professional associations, charitable organizations, academic
institutions, and the agencies that represent them are all encouraged to enter their work. Click here for eligibility requirements.
All 23 categories are geared towards nonprofits and their campaigns. The categories range from Best Crisis Management to Best Volunteer Program to Best Press Release.
Why should you enter? Consider these perks:
-
A special edition of PR Daily is dedicated to summaries of the winning entries and has a worldwide circulation to hundreds of
thousands of readers.
- Every category winner will receive one free admission to a Ragan conference.
- Each category winner gets an elegant trophy.
- You earn bragging rights and reign as best of the best.
- Nothing validates what you do better than winning a Ragan award.
