Infographic: Check out these stats on digital dads

Wonder about the impact of social media on parenting? We found this infographic with statistics from a Euro RSCG Worldwide survey of 1,000 U.S. dads. It compares “Digital Dads” with “Average Joes.”

A Mashable article reports that of the dads interviewed:

• The majority think new technology is creating smarter kids and greater access to information, but making young people “less proficient in the English language.”
• Dads think technology distracts kids and impairs “their ability to communicate face-to-face” and to read and write at expected levels.
• Some dads are making kids take “time outs” from social media, though, and limiting their time online.
