Max Page and Regan Owens, junior ambassadors and patients of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, hope to give their moms “the Most Awesome Mother’s Day
Present Ever.” From April 25 to May 12, Mother’s Day, the two have set out on a mission to raise $25,000 to help kids just like them.
To date, Max and Regan have raised over $18,000, three quarters of their $25,000 goal, thanks to the many supporters and positive impact of social media.

Email has played a vital role as well. To initiate buzz, the hospital’s marketing communications team sent a “sneak peek” email to local mom bloggers 24
hours before launch with an exclusive link along with some ways they can support Max and Regan online. Additionally, Jamie Lee Curtis, a Children’s
Hospital board member, sent an email to hospital supporters proclaiming her enthusiasm and encouraging donations.
