Infographic: 85 percent of doctors are happy with EHRs

Electronic health records are growing in popularity, especially as more and more physicians are becoming acclimated to the technology.

An infographic from HealthIT.gov highlights several areas that providers say are beneficial:

  • 81 percent of physicians who use EHRs say they access patient files remotely.

  • 64 percent say EHRs have alerted them to potential medication errors.

  • 62 percent say the technology alerted them to hazardous levels in patients’ lab tests.
